Examination:
Dr. Farra will carefully examine the area of pain or discomfort in order to diagnose the problem. Expect a thorough examination. Sometimes problems in the low back contribute to foot pain and foot dysfunction can certainly cause low back pain. Dr. Farra wants to help you achieve long term health. In order to avoid just treating symptoms your condition must be properly diagnosed with the help of a comprehensive examination.
Diagnosis:
Following the examination, Dr. Farra will discuss his diagnosis with you. He'll report what he has discovered during the examination and how those factors could be contributing to your current situation. Patients are encouraged to ask questions during their entire visit with Dr. Farra, but especially during this phase when the treatment plan is discussed. Patients who have not previously received chiropractic care can expect additional explanation from Dr. Farra during this phase to make sure they understand and are comfortable with the treatment plan he is recommending.
Treatment:
Dr. Farra practices Diversified Chiropractic, one of the most practiced methods of chiropractic care. Depending on your condition Dr. Farra may use any of the following therapy methods: Chiropractic manipulative therapy, Graston Technique, kinesio taping, massage, hot packs, ice therapy, ultrasound, electro-therapy, therapeutic exercises/rehabilitation, supportive taping, or if needed additional therapy options will be discussed.
Home Care:

It is important to Dr. Farra that his patients understand what may have caused their condition. Before you leave his office, Dr. Farra will offer recommendations to help prevent your condition from worsening or returning.
