Mindy Mylrea

National and World Champion, star of 12 instructional exercise videos and a top rated teacher training program, motivational speaker."We put a great deal of stress on our bodies, so chiropractic is very helpful."

Bernard Horn

Men's Champion. "My chiropractor is really phenomenal. He's shown me how to use my body to its greatest advantage. I've gotten stronger and greatly increased my flexibility."

Barry Bonds

7-time MVP and all-time home run record holder in Major League Baseball. "When you're out there and you're not feeling the pain, you're obviously going to be a better player."

Wade Boggs

elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame and appeared in 12 straight All-Star games. "Last year I found (a chiropractor), and I have been seeing him ever since. I have been pain-free and feeling terrific. I swear by it.”

Jose Canseco

4-time AL Silver Slugger Award Winner and 6 time All-Star. "I've found that it's a great stress reliever to get adjusted. It takes away a lot of the tightness in the muscles."

Greg Mathews

In 1986, he was credited with the most victories by a rookie pitcher on the St. Louis Cardinals in the previous 15 years. Injuries kept him off the playing field for most of the next two seasons. He credits chiropractic with helping him get off the disabled list and overcoming career-threatening slump!

Ryan Sandberg

One of the best second basemen of all time, winning 9 consecutive Gold Glove Awards. His wife Cindy explained: "He's had some awesome games after getting an adjustment. He was frequently adjusted before games."

John Stockton

In each of his 19 seasons of play, his team made the playoffs; he didn’t miss a game in 17 seasons. Doug Smith, a sports reporter for the Toronto Star, recently noted in his column that Stockton believes the greatest reason he's still able to compete is the care he receives from the team chiropractor. "It's been great for me and for my family," he told the Toronto Star.

Dan Schayes

In each of his 19 seasons of play, his team made the playoffs; he didn’t miss a game in 17 seasons. Doug Smith, a sports reporter for the Toronto Star, recently noted in his column that Stockton believes the greatest reason he's still able to compete is the care he receives from the team chiropractor. "It's been great for me and for my family," he told the Toronto Star.

Gerald Wilkins

Second only to Patrick Ewing in points scored for the New York Knicks in the 1980’s. "I didn't know how much I could improve until I started seeing a chiropractor. Since I've been in chiropractic, I've improved by leaps and bounds, both mentally and physically." The Utah Jazz are the oldest team in the NBA and yet are also the most injury-free. Why? The Jazz claims their chiropractor is most important reason the team remains the most injury-free.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

At the age of 23, the youngest Mr. Olympia ever. He would win the title the next 5 years in a row. "Bodybuilders and fitness people have been using chiropractic very extensively in order to stay healthy and fit. I found it was better to go to a chiropractor before you get injured. We are a perfect team- the world of fitness and the world of chiropractors. I am very fortunate to have, so-to-speak, my in-house chiropractor, Dr. Franco Colombo, as my own personal chiropractor. So, I visit Franco regularly, and he comes over to my house. He adjusts my wife, my kids, me, everybody gets an adjustment. And we feel always great when Franco leaves. Even when I have athletic injuries he's always there for me, and helps me. So it's really terrific, and I know that first hand. That's why I always will be traveling around, all over the world, talking highly about the profession of chiropractic. You chiropractic doctors are really miracle workers." "People who do not believe in chiropractic always ask me about it. I have now become like a spokesperson for chiropractic. So many people come up to me because they know that I am a big believer in chiropractic and that we are doing this fitness weekend together each year. They ask me about chiropractic with questions like, How do you choose a chiropractor? or What is the best way of going about finding the best doctor for me? Well, I say, there are a few things that you should watch out for. Then I give them a few points. I share my experiences. I just had another skiing accident up in Sun Valley and I really could not move. And I again had one of those miracle moments when you call a chiropractor, they care for you and give you adjustments and then days later you ski again like a champion on moguls. So this is what happened to me ... another personal experience with proof how great chiropractic is."

Evander Holyfield

In each of his 19 seasons of play, his team made the playoffs; he didn’t miss a game in 17 seasons. Doug Smith, a sports reporter for the Toronto Star, recently noted in his column that Stockton believes the greatest reason he's still able to compete is the care he receives from the team chiropractor. "It's been great for me and for my family," he told the Toronto Star.

Lance Armstrong

7-time winner of the Tour de France, America's greatest cyclist ever. Lance has said that he would not have won the 2000 Tour de France without his chiropractor.

Joyce Verdel

Ph.D Fitness expert, Best-selling author, lecturer. "Chiropractic helps athletes and people working out, engaging in a sport or even just performing daily functions such as walking and sitting, to operate at their peak levels of performance without pain. I highly recommend that you pay a visit to your local chiropractor."

Emmitt Smith

NFL's all-time career rushing yardage leader and holds the NFL's career rushing TD record. The November 4, 2002 issue of Sports Illustrated talked at length about the difficulties a running back faces in trying to stay healthy at the most physically taxing position in football, where "the best are often finished not long after they get started." Sports Illustrated goes on to say that, "Thanks to former (San Francisco 49ers) teammate Roger Craig, (Tom) Rathman learned early in his career about the healing powers of deep-tissue massage and chiropractic therapy, both of which are now common treatments around the league."

After 13 years and some 4,000 punishing carries, Smith is still going strong. "I started doing this about four or five years ago. I believe that what I’m doing is what helps me go on. I think Warren Moon, (Seattle’s 41 year old quarter back) does the same thing. So I’ve become a big believer in servicing my body and making sure it is lined up properly and functioning the way it is supposed to on Sunday. I go see [my chiropractor] when I get bent out of shape on Sundays. Playing in a football game is like being in 30-40 car accidents." Smith credits his chiropractor, Dr. Robert Parker with helping to supply the longevity that allowed him to achieve this record.

Chris Carter

8-year Pro-Bowl player, second only to Jerry Rice in career receptions and touchdowns by a receiver. "Chiropractic has really helped me to keep my body in line to help my body recover."

Irving Fryar

First player to have at least one touchdown reception in each of 17 consecutive seasons. "I definitely believe that chiropractic care has attributed to my fitness. I don't think I could maintain my level of play without chiropractic. When I go to [my chiropractor] for an adjustment I immediately feel better."

Joe Montana

One of the most recognizable celebrity/athletes, holder of four Super Bowl Championship rings, three Super Bowl MVP's and Player of the Year in 1990. He is the spokesperson for Chiropractic in the State of California. "I've been seeing a chiropractor and he's really been helping me out a lot. Chiropractic's been a big part of my game. Chiropractic care works for me. I only wish I had tried chiropractic a few years ago when I first started having back pain and maybe the surgery would have never happened." Joe Montana and 35 of his teammates received chiropractic care right before the 1990 Super Bowl Game. Joe Montana has gone on record to attribute his recovery from a potentially career-ending back injury to his chiropractor.

Bill Romanowski

winner of two consecutive Super Bowls with two different teams. His opponents are not thrilled at his good health. Romanowski is considered among the dirtiest players in the NFL, a linebacker with a Dick Butkus mentality.

Barbara Bunkowsky

Competitor in the Ladies Professional Golfers’ Association. "I Have found that chiropractic keeps me flexible and pain-free so that I can perform at my highest level. The benefits of chiropractic have improved my golf swing, putting less stress and strain on my body and allowing me to be a more productive golfer. I believe it also helps prevent other associated injuries that are very common on the LPGA tour."

Fred Funk

8 PGA tour wins, and the oldest player to win the Players Championship. "I do believe chiropractic has really benefited my game. Over the last three years, I feel I have become more exposed to, and knowledgeable about, the benefits of chiropractic for me and my game. I realize how your body can get out of balance, and chiropractic care helps..."

Tiger Woods

Winner of 10 majors before the age of 30, and the second player of all time to win three major championships in a calendar year. "I've been going to Chiropractors for as long as I can remember. It’s as important to my training as practicing my swing." Many people don't know that Tiger Woods rode upon a Chiropractic Float in the 1995 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade.

Jorge Angat Jr.

U.S. Lightweight Champion. "The split second that can be added to my speed by my chiropractor could be crucial." According to Jorge's Manager, Denis Doucette, "Chiropractic care gives him that little advantage, that little extra strength and quickness and allows him his best opportunity to regain his title."

Gregg Glasingame

Atlanta Attack Professional Soccer Team. "I was hit into the boards really hard one day and had tremendous back pain. I went to a chiropractor because nothing else was working, and there I found immediate relief."

Brian Haynes

winner of three American Professional Soccer League titles. "Chiropractic helps to prevent injuries and speeds up the recovery time when you are injured."

US World Cup Team

"As the season progressed, virtually every player (had) been adjusted. Some enjoy it for its preventative approach, and others appreciated the relief it provides them when they have been injured."

Mark Kechele

Professional surfer. "I'm definitely going to make chiropractic part of my training program."

Ritchie Rudolph

Professional surfer. "I surfed better than I have in a long time. With just those couple of adjustments, I was noticeably more flexible and had an incredible burst of energy."

Ivan Lendl

Most Grand Slam Singles Finals in tennis history (19), including 8 wins. "I try to go twice a week to a chiropractor, sometimes even more during big tournaments. I feel I am much more tuned-up with an adjustment. I support chiropractic very much. I think it is great for sports, I think it is great for anyone."

Martina Navratilova

9-time Wimbledon champion (including 6 in a row), 4-time U.S. Open champion, and 3 time Australian Open champion. Martina has had a personal chiropractor in her entourage for a number of years.

Joe Greene

Long Jump Competitor and Bronze Medalist in the 1992 and 1996 Olympics. "I know chiropractic helped me. It helped my performance and I feel better."

Dan O'Brien

Gold medalist in Decathlon in the 1996 Olympics. "You obviously can't compete at your fullest if you're not in alignment, and your body can't heal if your back is not in alignment. It was the holistic idea that I liked about chiropractic and that is what track and field is about. Every track and field athlete that I have ever met has seen a chiropractor at one time or another. In track and field, it is absolutely essential. I think I compete eight to ten percent better from regular chiropractic use. I think that is how much of a benefit it is , if not more!"

Derek Parra

2002 Olympic Gold Medalist and World Record Holder, men's 1500 meters. Parra has said he helps keep his body at its peak performance by receiving regular chiropractic care. "I've always been a proponent of chiropractic care. I've used a lot of other treatments for injuries and pain, but the problem doesn't get fixed until I go to a doctor of chiropractic."

Marla Runyan

5000 meter American Record holder who overcame a visual impairment to become an Olympian. She credits chiropractic with much of her success.
